My Emerson TV/VCR combo had an incident. It ate a tape and turned itself off. I VERY carefully detangled the tape from the machine. Now, the player won't even accept any tape into the play area. It goes into the slot fine and the machine tries to take the tape but it seems to be getting stuck on the left (looking at the player) side and can't take it. It lets me safely eject the tape though with absolutely no harm done to the tape. I hope this is something that can be fixed within a reasonable price range.
