How can I get this tv to work with my dvd player i...

How can I get this tv to work with my dvd player if I don't have the original remote ? I have a dish remote that is set to perform basic functions on the tv ie... Channel, volume & menu but I can't seem to perform the Aux function to get it into movie mode. Any help would be great. Thanks, Nathan
