Question About Emerson DVD VCR Combo EWD2004
Region...

I recently orderd a DVD off of ebay not realizing that I was ordering from the UK. The movie is in english, but the person that I purchased it from said that a US DVD player could have a differnt region than a UK DVD player. He said if my DVD player is a region 1, it will not work. If it is multi region, than it will. I have no idea what any of this means. Can you tell me if the movie will play or not?? Thank you.

0 See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD_region_code This page ... http://www.dvddemystifiziert.de/codefree_en/emerson.html ... suggests that your EWD2004 is restricted to playing region 1 (USA) DVDs. The UK is in region 2. Some less scrupulous person might suggest that you copy the DVD on your PC, thus making it region free.
