Trying to set up my tv to record shows with my VCR/ DVD player. I have a Vizio E421vl and a Emerson EWR20V4. I have the digital antenna hooked up to the input -VCR and a cable hooked to output of the VCR to input on TV. TV on channel 3. I also had the VCR on the input mode where it showed a black screen. I also tried the AV input on my tv, it was the same results.
