Question About Emerson TV DVD Combo None
how to get it to record a show while away...

I was trying to record a show while I was away. I set up a timed recording, but the time came and went and the recorder did not record the show I wanted. Is there some special trick to this? I thought I would be able to find the manual online, but so far I have had no such luck.
