i bought a used emerson tv which runs really good, but no remote control. i have verizon and have tried entering the mfg codes to program the remote and none of them work. the remote will change channels, but will not turn the tv on/off or work the volume control. i used the codes that verison has and the ones for emerson in my universal remote codes that came with that remote. any ideas?
