My EWC1304 tv plays sound when a music cd is in the connected dvd player. When I put a cd in the cd player, I get sound as long as I am on the menu screen. If I choose the option to play the cd/movie, the sound quits. Can you help?

0 I have the manual but couldn't find anything helpful. It seems to be able to play music but not speech.
