my tv has two power buttons and when its on and i ...

my tv has two power buttons and when its on and i try to turn the other one on for the picture it lights up green then it blinks red until i shut it off then turn it back on and its the same thing over and over, eventually it will come on but it takes a lot of tries and i was wondering what i could do to fix it..
