1 Since the digital changeover, I am no longer able to record any T.V. shows with my Funai/Magnavox ZC320MW8. I receive the error message--Recording Error This program is not allowed to be recorded-- At the bottom of the screen, it says,"E 25." It says this no matter what program, or channel I try to record. I have Directv, and have not been having any problems before two days ago. Any thoughts?

0 I believe this error means that the content is copy protected.

0 A DVD player generates the Macrovision copy protection signals for commercial discs. Maybe a digital TV does the same for its own analogue outputs. The digital outputs are protected by DRM.
