I converted my VHS videos onto DVD on a Funai Vhs ...

I converted my VHS videos onto DVD on a Funai Vhs to DVd converter, however, I cannot play the DVD on my mac computer. The DVD shows up as a blank DVD. Can you please give me some advice on how I can play the DVD on my mac computer. Thanks
