transfer vhs to dvd...

I am trying to determine which disc to use in order to transfer data from a vhs tape to a dvd disc.

0 You can use pretty much any disc that you want. A cd will hold a full avi format movie, a regular dvd can hold 4 or 5 movies depending how long they are. However when you pack a lot of movies onto a disc the quality goes down. So I would say use a regular dvd and record at a fast speed to keep the quality up. One movie per disc. Would you have the info on finalizing a dvd ? I'm looking for that info so I can finalize some dvd's I recorded.
