I have a dvd/vcr combo which not only plays dvd's and video cassettes beut also records on dvd as well as vhs. You can copy your vhs onto dvd. It says on the front panel of it that it is an SV2000. I want to record my old vhs tapes onto dvd to preserve them but have lost the manual due to having moved in with my folks after my hubby recently passed from a heart attack. Doew anyone know how I would record the vhs tapes onto dvds? Do you use the dub button & press that to do it. Seems to me I recall seeing in the manual something about finalizing the disc but I have no idea if that's right. and if it is I have no idea how to do that. I looked at a copy of the manual for it on this site & sure didn't see anything on how to do that in it. Thanks for anyhelp anyone can give me...
