GE Universal remote control 24938 - HELP!.. Unab...

GE Universal remote control 24938 - HELP!.. Unable to program this GE universal remote control to my Roku and tv. My tv is an Element 46' HD and my ROKU HD Streaming Player ( unable to program either throught direct code entry or auto code search. No code exists in the manual for the Element TV and only 1 code exists under AUX for the ROKU. What's up? Never had so much trouble programming for either with any other universal brand before now!
