no numbers on remote...

I lost my manual and the remote has no numbers so how do I program the code numbers?

5 1. Manually turn on the device 2. Press & hold set-up button 'till light stays on - then release 3.Press & QUICKLY release the DEVICE button 4.Press POWER button repeatedly until device turns off (do this slowly, and it COULD take up to 300 times!). When device turns off, Press & Release MUTE button to save the code.
