dvd player...

when i put a disc in my haier dvd player it says no disc and the disc is not spinning. what should i do

0 I had the same problem with a 22" Haier. I used a piece of paper to fix it. You just barely stick the corner in, enough for the tv to realize it's there, but not enough for it to grab it. Let the loading motor spin for about 15 seconds, then pull the paper away. If you have a disc cleaner, put it in now. It will clean the dust off of the lens and you will be able to play dvds again.
