while the cable was being installed my TV lost its...

while the cable was being installed my TV lost its picture and now have a blank screen that flashes different colors. Had to unplug to shut if off. bought TV new 5 months ago. Is this cable companies fault or do I have a lemon and can it be fixed???? HELP
