Question About Hearth and Home Technologies Universal Remote SMART-STAT-II
Remote is not communicating with Receiver.ver. Following the instruction manual, I discovered there is no "learn button". Please...

Remote appears to be working inall functions. Receiver appears to be operating as it should; however, the two are not communicating. I have changed batteries in the remote and thus suspected I might need the security code might need to be reprogram the security code. The button on the receiver is missing -- there is a hole there. PLease advise.

2 I too wanted to test the security code and can not get the Learn button to 'beep'. The button as I know it is through the hole...must be depressed with a paper clip or something. I can not get it to beep.

0 I can't get the remote/receiver to do anything. The receiver works in the "on" mode but not in the remote mode. Last summer it would randomly turn itself on so I removed the batteries from the remote. Now that I have replaced the batteries(and yes they are new) the receiver does nothing. How do you test whether it is the remote or receiver at fault?
