How do I get it to hd cause right now it's on 640x...

How do I get it to hd cause right now it's on 640x480@60hz? And that's not strong enough. Ive hooked my Xbox one up to the TV and swapped both hd cords and it still seems to be weak the hd system in the TV. Is there a way I can change that?
