Question About Hitachi DVD Player DV-P345
No Disc...

The player is showing No Disk or Bad Disc when a disc is loaded. This happens with all discs and these have been tested to work in other machines. I have checked the laser eye with an eyepiece and it appears to be fine and no dirt present. Is there anything I can do - apart from purchasing a new one? Thanks for your help in this matter.
