hi I have a hitachi 50hyt62u tv attached to a nb25...

hi I have a hitachi 50hyt62u tv attached to a nb2540 sound bar it all runs through our virgin tivo box but when I try to watch movies on a usb stick on the tv theres no sound coming through the sound bar just the tv.how do I get sound on the sound bar? thanks.
