Poor Image...

Please help fix my Hitachi CMP4121HDE Display. Space between pixels are highly visible, and true colour is lost.

0 I just purchased a used Hitachi CMP4121HDE, that doesn't power up. The power issue is now fixed, but the image quality is very poor. The space between pixels are highly visible, and true colour is lost. Consequently, you can read text on it and resolution seems greatly reduced. The story is the same to matter the input (PC and Composite video). Does this indicate possible screen failure? Is there any self diagnostic tool / menu available?
