Why is my internet is very slow on my hitachi 42HY...

Why is my internet is very slow on my hitachi 42HYT42U smart tv? I have an Broadband speed of 122.6 Mbit/s but my speed test on the TV is only saying 1683 Kbit/s. I have the TV connected by an Ethernet cable to a Lan port on my router so it should be receiving full speed but it is not. please help. Thank you in advance.
