Hunter Fan Remote IN2TX19. Has 5 dip pins inside...

Hunter Fan Remote IN2TX19. Has 5 dip pins inside remote control. Cannot get it to coordinate with fan settings. But cannot find location of receiver in the fan unit itself. Was originally told it was inside the ceiling cap, but it's not. Meanwhile remote control battery is being drained fast
