When I try to use HD cable on this TV for High Def...

When I try to use HD cable on this TV for High Definition, I plug it into the TV and the cable receiver, and the TV says HDTV no signal. When I do the same thing with another TV with high definition, it works fine. What is wrong with the ILO TV?
