Question About Insignia DVD VCR Combo IS-DVD040924
my dvd player is not showing movies......

i have IS-dvd040924, mt tv is an emerson lcd tv and my cable company is comcast ,with a comcast cable box. When everything is on,...on channel 3 with tv set to video 1....i insert dvd,...it reads,...and begins advancing,...but there is not a movie playing on the tv....whats wrong ?
