Sometimes the words are too large at the top and b...

Sometimes the words are too large at the top and bottom of the screen. Is this something that the cable co can do or the tv can control this. I.e, probably one line is cut off, or the top of a person's head is cut off. Crawlers at top or bottom can't read. All functions are done through cable box.
