The TV doesn't recognize my VCR/DVD player signal. I have cable running into and out of the VCR to the TV. I have attached piglet of red, yellow and white to the audio and video out of the VCR to the component plugins on the TV. When I go to component to view my VCR tape, the TV screen says there is no signal. There is no cable box involved. Does the VCR/DVD need to be on a certain channel?
