how does one get the tv to work with dish and its universal remote ? after connecting to the dish reciever with a coaxial cable and following the limited instructions that came with the unit; itdoes nothing but repeatedly ask you run channel search

0 I'm sure you have it figured out by now, but I would suggest a different/better coax cable. I had a similar problem. I changed out the cable and it works fine now.
