I cannot turn off closed caption. I followed the instruction in the users guide and the on screen indicated that closed caption was turned off, it was still on. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

-1 I ALREADY HAVE THE ORIGINAL MANUAL.  THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED THEREIN WILL NOT WORK EVEN THOUGH THE ON SCREEN RESPONSE SAID THE CLOSED CAPTION WAS OFF.
