Made "component/video" connections as per manual to my Sylvania HDTV 32 inch TV . The DVD portion works well, however the VCR will play momentarily and automatically shut off, but will play without the audio in the fast forward mode without shutting off. Also strange, is that I have some cheap / old VHS tapes that play very well without shutting down in the normal "play" position. Applicable in both channel 3 and component channels. What to do ?
