Question About JVC Projection Television HD-56G886
Dark Screen...

I have a JVC HD-56G886 purchased in sept. 05 and my screen has been getting darker and darker. We have had to replace the bulb once in Nov. 06. I have the settings for picture and brightness turned up all the way and the screen is still very dark. Is there something that just needs to be cleaned or is there a bigger problem? any help would be great!!

0 I have the same TV, which I bought about two years ago. I also noticed that my screen seems to be getting darker and I also have patches of yellow. I called in the extended warrenty I bought (thank god!) only to find out that the light engine is going on it. The light engine for this unit runs about $2,000. This is more than I spent on the TV but the warranty is covering it. I will let you know if this fixes the problem.
