Question About JVC VCR HR-J458E
Ejects cassette upon activation...

Upon switching on either by remote control or on recorder, the ejectmotor runs for 5 seconds and the display shows four bars. Switch for stopping ejectmotor is ok. There is no visible defect on pcb or mechanics.
