not seeing the vhs picture...

Not seeing a picture. I just need the cable information and go from there

0 I have tried rf out from the vcr to tv and then to a computer tuner on my PC. Then I tried using an RF Converter or adapter, with composite. I still cannot get a picture. just a gray static screen. Thanks for any help. Betty
