5 I think this process depends on your remote. If it is a programmable remote, you need to find the correct code that allows a sync with your specific type of DVD player. Usually, the sync process is: 1. hit DVD function 2. hit sync button 3. enter the code number for your DVD player 4. hit sync button again The button names may be different such as "set" or "program" instead of "sync".
