0 on the remote control there is a "dubbing" button. Place DVD and VCR casette in machine. Set TV at "Source" to "AV "Pause" from where you want to record from casette to DVD. press dubbing button. It will show on your screen. press dubbing twice. It will now start recording. press stop or pause when done.
