Some files do not display the subtitles, even though the extension is srt and the exact same name as the movie. Also checked the format of subtitles, and did not find any difference between those that play, and those that do not. Does anybody have a clue what could be the problem. I am tired of wasting DVD disks! Thanks Felix

5 If you have a Mac try this: Open your srt file with TextEdit Save as Choose Occidental (MacOS Roman) code Save it with .txt extension (same name as avi file) That's all Hope this works for you too. Antonio
