The 50PC5D comes with gray bars on the screen, side bars that are normally black on other TV's , are gray on this model. The manual is pretty light, has no info on changing the gray bars but someone posted in the internet that they were able to change these, but didn't detail how they did it. Also, there's a sub-menu that has several settings that can be changed, but again, the manual doesn't say what to change them to, or what the settings are for. Trial and error might mess things up.
