When I try to hovga ok up my pc to my tv with a VGA cable all my tv will say is invalid format. Whats wrong?

5 I had the same problem. Make sure you set the computer's resolution to one of the ones supported by the TV (as listed in the manual) BEFORE you connect the computer to the tv - you'll have to use a different monitor for that. If you do that, it should work fine once you connect it.
