The picture on my LG LCD (42LG30) TV is blue on the component set up—HDMI is fine. Here is the scenario: I recently had a Samsung Plasma TV in which the panel board blew. The component-in cable set up on this TV to my AV receiver was PrPbY (RBG cables) and a yellow cable was connected to the Video port on the AV-in. Because the TV was unrepairable, I bought the LG LCD TV. I set the LCD TV up the same way as the Samsung with two differences. 1). the PrPbY for the LCD TV in the component-in was backwards (YPbPr) so I matched up the corresponding cables to these ports (GBR respectively). 2). The LCD is 720p resolution vs 1080p resolution of the Samsung (I wonder if this matters to the cables I use in the component connection). Is there anyone that can help me with this problem? Do I have the cables mixed up, too many cables connected, or is there more set up with the component connection to sync with my receiver?
