The TV comes on and immediately turns off. If we leqave it alone for a day or two it wil stay on longer the first time, like a minute, but subseqent stats last only seconds. We have changed outlets checked ground, it was a facory rebuild and 3 months over the 1 year warrenty. LG has eextended warrenty, but there are no repair shops where I live. I must ship it to another island for warrenty work which is only parts. I do not like bouncing my tv via a boat 30 miles over and back if I can repair myself. I am an engineer, so taking it apart is something I enjoy. It is the stuff inside that i an a dummy about. Can anyone toss me a few ideas on things to check. I can spot capactors, resisters, and basic stuff if I know which one to look at. Thanks in advance Bruce in Virgin Islands.
