I just purchased a 52" LG TV, model # DU-52SZ61D. I was wathching it the other night, after it had been on most of the day, and the tv experienced a power outage and lost all power. I was unable to turn it back on for at least 5 minutes. It didn't have anything to do with the power outlet going to the tv due to the fact that the DVD player that is plugged into the same outlet still had power. I think what I'm trying to ask is if there is a safety feature built into this type of tv that shuts it completely off to prevent it from over heating or something that could cause damage to the tv. If you could please get back to me and let me know for sure if this is normal. That would be great! Thank you for your time, Krista, WI
