Question About Magnavox CRT Television 19X603 00 AA

Thanks in ADVANCE. I am having trouble routing my dvd player using an RF modulator to this tv. I have double checked the equipment on a different CRT tv and all is working well. I get the dvd logo but there is so much static and interference I can barely see it. Any suggestions would be helpful too.
