Question About Magnavox DVD Recorder MRV640
I put a blank DVD-R disk in and pressed "record". ...

I put a blank DVD-R disk in and pressed "record". Then a message on-screen says "NO DISC C-0002". Nothing else will happen after that. Why won't it recognize the disk?

0 I have the same problem when I use a DVD-R at 16X. I think there is a conflict with the software when using any DVD-R over 8X. I had some older blank DVDs and at 4X and 8X it saw them fine. I plan to buy some 4X DVD/RW and try it again.
