Don't have cable or satellite...Just an outside antenna. When trying to set up the timer programming, the VCR just displays L1 or L2 where you enter the channel number you want to tape on. We were told over the phone we needed different cables. so we have that hooked up as was said....but still can't program the channel in the timer program setting.
