I have a Magnavox VHS/DVD Recorder Combo, a Yamaha Receiver, DIRECTV, and a Hisense tv. I am using HDMI to connect all of my electronics. I cannot get my recorder to record. It was working fine before I upgraded to HDMI. Can you help? I have followed all my manuals, and it seems to be hooked up correctly, but it's recording a black screen, so something has to be wrong.
