I HAVE A "MWR20V6" DVD Recorder with Video Casset ...

I HAVE A "MWR20V6" DVD Recorder with Video Casset Recorder. HOW DO I RECORD THE VIDEO CASSETE ON TO THE DVD ? I can't find an easy explanation in the manual. It either records the channel that the cassette is playing on or I get a blank screen when replaying the DVD.
