Question About Magnavox DVD VCR Combo ZV450MW8A
Poor VCR picture quality...

Any video tape I try to play has vertical lines through it and also little blue and red dots all over the screen. I've tried numerous VHS tapes that play fine on my other VCR that is much older. I checked all the connections several times. Should I expect to have to clean this unit that is brand new? The DVD portion works fine.
