The on/off indicator light on my flat screen (a bit over 2 years old) will not turn off and stay off. When pressed, the light fades to black then turns back on. This repeats itself about every two minutes. When it turns back on the TV screen flashes white for only a moment. Any idea what is happening? Short of unplugging the tv, i don't know what to do. The remote also went out at about the same time this started to happen. I don't know, can it just be a coincidence?
