We have Directv but need the converter box for local stations. Can you give me directions or a diagram of the correct connections to connect both at the same time?

0 Okay I work for DTV tech support and I can help you on connecting the two to your TV. Now if you have the standard D10,D11,D12, R15, R16, units you will have to do an RCA connection to your TV from the DTV box and then use the coxal connection from the converter box to the tv, or vice versa. If you TV supports two RCA connections then you can run both and use your remote to switch between your inputs. The standard IRDs do not support the intergrade feature. No if you have the H20, HR20, H21, HR21, then you can intergrade your converter box through the off air antenna coxal connection. Saddly if you have the HR23 units they do not come with this connection so you will again will have to hook it up through the coxal connection on your TV and use the input button to switch between the two.

0 I am happy to hear it can be done but now my question is: What is an RCA connection?
