5 I will start by providing universal instructions for programming the remote. You can then try the codes I list below to see if you are successful. I will add that in my experience the TV/DVD combos are the pickiest and sometimes do not work correctly with universal remotes. The reason is because many do not use the traditional TV code and instead use DVD player codes for the television. Programming the Remote 1. Turn on the device your attempting to program the remote for (TV, DVD, ECT) 2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red light remains lit, then let off the SETUP button. 3. Press the desired mode button, in your case press "TV". The red light should flash and then remain lit. 4. Enter the 4 digit code 5. Test the remote and see if the channel or volume buttons work, if nothing works then move on to the next code. Possible Codes: 0807, 0002, 0502, 0919, 1914, 0224, 0430, 0247, 0402, 0408, 0109, 0715 If those do not work try these: 0441, 0442, 0447, 0599, 0799, 0699, 0247, 0193, 0093, 0598 You need to try all of these codes until you find one that works. I will again advise you that with the TV/DVD combos they do not always program to universal remotes. In some cases they do not work at all and in others they only have limited functionality. Source: Cable Tech for 5.5 years where I programmed cable remotes to televisions. The TV/DVD combo and TV/VCR combo were always the ones that gave me the most difficulty. If the TV codes do not work than the DVD player codes sometimes will.
